Trust & acceptance

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Holy Spirit: Trust. Trust is always key. To hold onto trust is everything, because trust is the manifestation of the knowledge of your love combined with your knowingness that love seen as love is evidence of all that is truly real.

There is nothing to fear in the world. There is nothing in the world to fear at all. But when you choose the idea of fear, you choose the ripples of fear or the experience of fear. The intensity of the experience is directly linked to the intensity of your choice. The more strongly you choose fear, the stronger the experience. The more consistently you choose fear, the more consistent the experience. But if you allow the choice for fear to fade by strongly and consistently choosing trust…well, your experience will come from that. And the intensity and consistency of the miracles that come from your choice will amaze you. And you will fall more deeply in love with everything as Me, which is the truth of you.

You love the idea of love, and you enjoy the knowledge of happiness. This is great. When you are attracted by love and knowledge of your own happiness, you will be more consistent in your choice for them. Since experience always comes from choice, you will be most satisfied with experience that comes from the knowledge of your consistent choice for what you truly want.

The energy of my message feels lower to you now, because you have chosen a lower energy by remembering times that choice seems challenged…when you seem to be victim of the choices that are made by the mind. During these times it can seem difficult to will for what you want, and you can feel as if you are failing in the choice to have the experience of what you truly want.

Know that you never fail. This may seem unreal to you…like a concept only given in order to make you feel good…but it is not only a concept. It is total truth. You never fail. Failure is impossible for the Son of God.

In any moment you are experiencing exactly what you choose to experience. This is important for you to realize, because in resisting your current experience you resist you. Resistance, as I have told you, is fear. It is also hate. So even in resisting or judging your current feeling of hate, you are choosing a will for experience and experiencing exactly as you have willed for. The trick to shifting an experience that you do not like or are not enjoying to another experience that you know you’d prefer is to totally accept the current experience.

If that experience is hate, look at it. If it is doubt or fear, look at that. If you are projecting onto others or attacking yourself, stop and look at that. Stop, only for a moment, and look directly at the current experience as you have deemed it to be. And now say:

“This is how I feel now. These are the thoughts I see in my mind now. I accept this exactly as it is without wishing to extend it longer than it need be.”

Then stay in the energy of acceptance. The length and intensity of the current experience will last as long as it needs to last in order to match the intensity and consistency of your choice. Be willing for the experience to last. Be absolutely willing to continue with the experience of hate or doubt or fear as an experience, and remember that the experience is a mirage delivered through desire and the power of light.

Sometimes you want an immediate answer to your experience…an immediate shift from the experience of now to a feeling you know you would prefer. Knowing you prefer another experience is not wrong. It is this knowing that will cause you to choose the experiences you really want to have. But resisting the current experience by judging and struggling for an immediate answer or an immediate change is resistance, or judgment of you. That is continuing will for that which you realize you don’t want.

Acceptance is the answer…patient acceptance, along with the realization of the light. Do not be in a hurry. Be more willing for the long-term effect that you desire. Rest, accept and trust. Notice temptations to resist. And in that moment, choose again. This is truly the best way to help yourself. Through results, it teaches clearly who you are.

If you feel fear right now…fear of failing in what I ask, fear of not being good enough, or fear that the tiny mad idea is all that is true…do not resist the feeling you call fear. Do not resist the panic in your chest. Do not resist what you see in your mind. Accept it. Forget about future results right now. A mind projected into the future with fear as the filter will only know the experience of fear more.

Rest now with the experience of now, and accept it. See it as the light. See it as the experience that was desired. Do not go back and look for a thought. Just stay with now. Just stay with the experience. Focus only on acceptance. Keep the image of Helen and the scroll in mind. Keep the scroll rolled up so you do not look into the past or imagine the future. Stay here, right here in the throes of your experience. And accept, without judgment, the purity and perfection of the experience you are having now.

Question: There is an expectation of resistance in my mind. When the boiling hate or crippling fear comes upon the mind, it seems it will be impossible to do this then.

Holy Spirit: The expectation of resistance is fear. Don’t let it fool you into thinking it is knowledge. It is not. It is fear now projected forward so that the acceptance of now is resisted and resistance is denied. It is merely missing the point and practicing the creation of fear through the avoidance of noticing and accepting now.

Don’t miss now. Look at it, embrace it, accept it, and remember that you can only do that now. Make this your sole practice today.

~Commentary on the mind~

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

Dear friends,

Since I felt guided to read and teach this new message on the day it was received, I wanted to include it here for all of you who wanted also to follow with the audio.
I’m very grateful for Regina and this new message she apparently received from a very familiar teacher who shares the Voice of the Holy Spirit with all the other Teachers, Ramana Maharsi.

Much love,
Laurent

The mind is not constant. The concerns of the mind for one day may be completely different than the concerns for another. If all of the concerns for one day are written down, it may be seen that concerns and imagined solutions conflict with one another, so that no true peace can be found with the mind. The solution of concerns creates new concerns. And so again, there is no peace with the mind.

This is why one must step away from the mind to find peace. Peace cannot be found with the mind.

Stepping away from the mind is as simple as losing interest in it. When the mind chatters, it chatters because you are listening. As you lose interest in what it has to say, because you know its answers are not your answers, the chattering of mind shall fade away.

Mind cannot be ignored entirely. Mind is like a tool that must be used if one is to experience this world in any way. Mind is the tool of perception. Perception can only be experienced through mind. But this is not the same as saying that mind controls perception or that one must listen to the chattering or problems and solutions of mind.

Think of mind as a filter. This filter enables the one to see objects where there is light. This filter enables one to distinguish differences where there are none. It enables one to communicate using symbols that represent something else. Without the mind, one would be unable to experience the world. But this does not mean that one must be subject to the mind.

The mind, when believed and taken seriously, seems to define reality. But as I have just shown, the mind does not define reality. It places a veil of perception over reality so reality can be experienced in a new way. This means that the mind is a trickster or illusionist, and that which it creates is purely illusion. To believe the mind is to believe illusion. To think illusion is reality is to be completely deluded.

Again I emphasize that belief in illusion, or the process of being deluded, comes from believing the mind.

This must mean then, that the process of awakening is also the process of learning not to believe the stories of the mind.

As a filter, the mind can be used to see and experience illusion without believing it. This experience comes from maintaining knowledge that is beyond the mind. It can also be said that this knowledge is before the mind. This knowledge exists now, within the Self, at a depth that is below and at a height that is above the mind. In other words, the knowledge is always accessible and it takes only desire to remember and realize this knowledge.

I ask you to practice.

I have given you a mantra. I ask you to practice this mantra to the utmost of your ability. This means, practice it as much as you remember. This mantra shall access knowledge and bring it back to you (similar to the way a computer command can access a saved file and open it into memory.)

And at the same time, I ask you to practice surrender. Surrender does not see the mind’s problems and solutions as important. It puts aside the mind’s stories and listens in the moment for direct communication from Me.

Through the use of mantra and surrender, the mind becomes a tool that is used. It is no longer a tool that acts as user. Perception is still experienced, but the filter is cleansed of false ideas so that perception is experienced with clarity. This is also called true perception, because it is not cluttered with ideas of illusion. Perception is seen and experienced, but truth is realized and remembered, so that the one experiencing and communicating through the filter cannot be referred to as deluded.

Seeds of trust

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Dear friends,

as I’m posting these messages, and particularly this one, I’m reminded of how great has been my year in North Carolina with Regina and Spirit. Even when it seemed to be the hardest experience of my life… th e most difficult in terms of facing my own fears… it has been just perfect, and there were always some Golden Words ringing and pictured in my mind during these times.
The following message on Trust is one of them. The “seeds” that it has planted inside of me have never really left me, even if doubt is the experience I have often chosen since then.

Enjoy the planting… it is Holy.

With Love,
Laurent

Question: Holy Spirit, thank you for being here with us, so close to us, guiding our every step. I feel you in everything and I thank you. You know our questions and the direction we are to go in next. What would you share with us now?

Answer: Trust is not a little thing. Trust is the power of light refiltered as light and as the strength and power of purity, which is the truth of what it is.

Trust comes from knowing what you are, first in your intellect and then in your heart. Do not under-estimate the power of trust as intellect. It is still the power of trust, and its purity shall be known when its awareness reaches into your heart.

Trust, at the level of intellect, is a reminding. It may seem to be a struggle or an efforting, but that is only because the will of fear and doubt is strong. The antidote to fear is trust, so planting the seeds of trust, even if it seems to be great work, is a strong and powerful way to overcome the laziness of fear.

I refer to fear as laziness because fear is a habit. It was learned long ago and continues through laziness (or automatic trigger) today. The opposite of laziness is work or effort, and this is the power that must be aimed toward trust.

You can see that if your power is aimed toward trust, and fear is merely the act of laziness, with time the power will rise up through trust and trust will become your power. This is the movement of trust from the level of intellect to the level of heart. It is this movement that will begin to change all things, but that movement begins with seeds of trust planted in the heart, and these seeds are planted from the level of intellect.

Whenever you notice fear, you must be willing to plant the seeds of trust. Realize that the seeds of trust are planted with the power beyond fear, and it is this power that carries the seeds to the heart. Feel the fear, experience the power and remember to intellectually choose trust. Do not worry if the body still feels fearful. Do not worry that the mind is filled with doubts. Fear and doubt are the storminess that softens the soil for the planting. Hold to the idea of trust and see yourself planting very tiny seeds.

Each storm of fear passes and then sunshine comes out to warm the heart where it had felt cold. It is during this time, during the warming of the heart, that the seeds of trust are nourished. Use this time as the master gardener to love the seeds that you know have been planted in your heart. Whenever you know love, feel gratitude for the seeds of trust. Whenever you know joy or happiness in any measure, let your smile shine on the idea of trust resting and growing in your heart. Let every laugh shine on your tiny seeds of trust. Let every giggle remind you that the seeds of trust are there.

As you plant the seeds of trust through intellectual remembering during fear, and as you nourish those seeds through gratitude and happiness, seeds of trust shall take root in your heart. There is no effort in making them grow. Once they are planted and loved, the growth shall come naturally. Expect only to enjoy the fruit of trust as a natural experience when the ripening of trust has reached its certain prime.

This answer, the answer on trust, is also the answer to your question about how to will for. For in answering this question, I have taught you to will for trust. To will for trust is to will for everything. You can will for trust in you, will for trust in Me, will for trust in anchoring your practice or will for trust in your own willingness to see. To will for trust is to create, and this is a natural willing that is not difficult. For just as you are always grateful, you are always trusting. Even when you seem to will against, you are willing for. You can only will for, for you are the Son of God. The question, of course, is what is your will willing for now?

Remember the power of your will and the strength of your power, even as your will for seems to be against and the force of your power seems to be the weakness of powerlessness. Always remember what is true, even as you experience the mask of what is false. Then, as you remember the truth…as you remember it anywhere in your mind…plant the tiny seeds of trust. Know that if you have planted them, they will most certainly grow. Let the power that is light carry them to the fertile soil of the heart.

Teaching “the filter”, how to “will for”, and the “second thought”

Question: I want to anchor the message of the flow. Laurent and Christine want to anchor the message of power. I am willing to write anything you would have me write and share it in any way you would have me share. What would you like to say to us?

Answer: Anchoring a practice is a matter of silent practice. It is a matter of being willing to see everything the eyes see through that idea. It is being willing to look at every thought the mind thinks through the filter of the idea given by God.

One filter can transmute another, which returns a distorted image or idea to its original state. The ideas I give are this filter…this filter of returning to truth, or “undoing.” Undoing is more than letting go of the false, although that idea is certainly key. Undoing is also accepting new ideas or new filters within the mechanism called the thinking mind.

You have been told that the spiritual path is one of mind training. This is true and it is not true simultaneously. It is true as you learn to project your thoughts through a new filter, thereby transmuting them to their original state. It is not true in that this can never happen through thinking. This is purely a matter of will or desire.

My strongest recommendation for anchoring a new practice is to focus on your will for that practice. Everything comes to you through your will. Nothing is limited since your will is everything. To focus on your will for is to anchor that which you decide upon.

As for some of the specific questions asked about power…

Feelings and ideas (or thoughts) are not different. They seem different to you because one seems to be in the mind and the other in the body, but this is only illusion. Both are thought or idea, so anything that will work on a thought will also work on a feeling. Do not give more power to one than the other. Do not see them as different in anyway. Through this filter of sameness, fear of feelings will fall away and they will not become more strongly denied than thought. When feelings flow as freely as thought, your freedom from the grip has begun.

Doubt and regrets also are not different from one another. Both are manifestations in the mind, or ideas branched from another idea, which teach you that you are what you are not. As I have told you, you are a flow or not-independent. You are a part of all-that-is and all-that-is itself. Within the idea of doubt or regret, there is the idea that all-that-is isn’t and you are independent. This is to look at life or experience through the filter of separateness. When this occurs, it is time to look through a new filter. That is the filter I have given on the flow.

To accept the flow is to trust the current moment, the current feeling or the current guidance. There is always a knowing what to do. Doubt comes in from questioning that knowing. This produces only a feeling of fear, which does affect the flow. To stay at the highest vibrational level, learn to trust whatever you feel to do without question. Just feel and trust, and don’t have a need to understand. As you feel and trust, you are cradled gently into the arms of God. This is to accept the flow at the highest possible vibrational level, because it is to accept all-that-is in the moment as the perfect and unquestionable creation of God.

Regrets are looking back and questioning the past. Regrets are nothing but a form of self-torture. They serve no purpose except that of keeping you at a lower vibrational level. This comes from the desire to know yourself as that which you are not. Since you truly want to see yourself as you are, you must be willing to let go of the idea of regrets by looking at the idea through the anchored filter of the flow.

Question: Laurent has several more specific questions. How shall we answer him? Please direct me in what to do.

Answer: Laurent’s questions come from fear. He is fearful that he will not do this right or that he will not be able to hold onto the teaching that has been given him. This is no different than your ideas about the flow. This is a subtle form of the famous “second thought” you two have been discussing. Let’s talk about this second thought now, because it is key to your understanding to see this thought [as it is] and let it go.

The second thought is the key thought used to teach you that you are what you are not. The second thought teaches that you are powerless and victim, and this teaches clearly exactly what you are not. This thought lives in your mind through desire, and it is present in all that the eyes do see and all that the mind does think. This is why I said anchoring comes from will. Anchoring is the opposite of this thought, which is designed to keep you unanchored and shifting. But since the second thought comes to you through will, it is only stronger will that will anchor you and take away the second thought.

The taking away of the second thought will occur through will as the experience of a miracle. You cannot let go of the second thought by working on it. You can only let go of the second thought by choosing another will. Focus must always be on where you want to go, not on the place you want to leave.

The second thought is nothing but an idea in the mind put there by the will to experience what you are not. When you see this thought, remember clearly its purpose. When you look at the thought as an idea made to teach an experience, and you realize the experience is one you no longer desire to learn, you step into your power by recalling your power through the idea you are not victim. This totally disarms the thought since it is a thought of non-power and victim. You will laugh at the idea of the second thought as not-power when you look clearly at its power and realize that is light. Laugh at how good you are at trying to teach yourself you are powerless through the use of such power! It is ridiculous. It is a contradiction that must be seen and seen as clearly a contradiction that cannot stand. Through seeing the contradiction, you remember who you are and the thought that ‘you are not’ is useless.

Question: Is there anything else that you would have me listen to and share now?

Answer: Yes, have faith in yourself. Trust yourself. Know what you feel to do in the moment and trust that idea or thought without questioning it. You always know, but then you let the thinking mind come in and question, and this takes you away from what you know. The questioning and doubt are only tools of illusion. And the illusion, again, is that you are what you are not. This illusion is the only illusion that exists, which is why knowing your power is the answer to all of your illusions. Through the eyes of truth, non-truth only stands to be seen as wholly not true.
