Dear friends,
this is also one of those amazing messages… those pillars of Light that helped us so much realize that we are not victim of our experiences, but the creators of them.
I’ll let you enjoy and digest this piece of Art.
With love,
Laurent
Holy Spirit: Placing too much emphasis on anything within the dream can be an error in your mind, because to make anything in the dream real is to make the dream real. This, specifically, is to forget who you are. This is also true about the idea of making healing real. If it is true that you must heal, then it is also true that you are not absolute perfection now, and that is not the case.
The best place to stay within the mind is the remembrance that you are the master of the mind now. You are not working towards mastery. That would mean that you are, right now, somehow less than all that you are. You are master now. You cannot be any less, because you are always all that you are.
Now, with the realization that you are master, look at the dream. Look at everything about it with a sense of awe, remembering that you created it for you. Awe is not seriousness or concern; it is pure appreciation. But when you look at the dream with awe, you are not truly being inspired by the dream itself. Your true inspiration…the true source that inspires the feeling of awe…is the power that makes the dream. And that power is you in your truth as pure and total master of your mind. In this awe, you appreciate the awareness of you as you truly are. And as you know, that which you appreciate expands in your awareness. So by appreciating you as your truth, you become more aware of your true mastery.
When everything in the dream is seen as the same, you are removing the mind from its focus on illusion and placing the mind in proper perspective, which is with focus on the Mind that is you. This is why I have been teaching acceptance…acceptance of all situations and all feelings. Resistance judges one thing to be different from another, but acceptance accepts all things as the same. In asking Me to help you handle particular circumstances as different, you are not accepting them as the same. This is taking the dream as something real and losing sight of the mastery which is you.
To not lose sight of the master is to appreciate the dream and to remain detached from it simultaneously. This is truly seeing it as an experience and not as reality. As you master this perspective, which is remembrance of you as master, you step into your reality even as you continue the dream. You read the code, so to speak and to use a symbol from your film, The Matrix. As you read the code, you also learn to change it by deleting a line here and by adding another where it seems appropriate. In doing this, you observe the dream as it changes. You live the experience more in line with the way you want to feel.
Although it seems much focus and effort is needed to do this…and I have taught you that emphasis is important…there also comes a time for you to stop giving special emphasis and to make all things the same.
Make all things the same. It is all code coming from the memory of your mind. Memory is built by decisions you make as you watch and observe. It is all the same. Nothing at all is different. No two things are anything but the same.
With that said, let’s look at your specific questions and see how to apply the idea of sameness to each of them. Remember, sameness is not to get lost in illusion. Sameness is to keep the mind focused on itself.
Question #1: Why do we sometimes feel abandoned if our message does not seem to be received, appreciated or understood by others?
Answer: God is sharing. You discussed this idea last night. And that which is different from God is not sharing, which is the experience you describe above. Notice I refer to not sharing as an experience. It is not at all a reality. Reality is total and perfect sharing always. When you are aware of the reality but experience the experience of illusion, you can be in awe and appreciation of your Self. What a magnificent being to create the pure experience of non-sharing through total and perfect sharing!
Look at the experience of your brothers and the part they play in non-sharing. This is all total…a total sharing to create the experience of non-sharing. You cannot appreciate total sharing and feel total abandonment too. An experience may exist, but awareness and appreciation rests within the mind too.
Question #2: What do we do when we feel a mood coming on…a wave of energy or adversity that seems to come over us without being triggered by a specific thought? It may feel like catching a lower energy from another. Or it may just seem like an abstract, for-no-specific-reason, mood.
Answer: Moods are energy, as all things are energy. This is how you shall see the sameness. It is energy. It is light. It is all coming from you. It is experience. It is in the mind now, but it is not permanent. It is only what it is and nothing more. It is to be accepted.
The judgment of the mood causes the feeling of suffering. The mood itself is nothing but the power of light transmuted into an experience. Of course, you can always choose another experience, but only after you have accepted the power of experience as you, and you do this by embracing the experience you have already made.
You have experienced a variety of feelings lately. This is helpful, for by experiencing them all and accepting them as coming from you, you begin to accept the broad range that is you. To resist the broad range is to limit the expression of you, and to limit is to judge against freedom. You cannot judge freedom and love the experience of it too. To love the experience of freedom, learn to stay within its effects without judgment. Do not worry that its effects will continue without end. All effects are temporary. But you are using them to truly learn about you.
Question #3: How do we transcend the program of failure? That is, how do we go beyond the feeling of “I can’t do this”?
Answer: By not resisting it. The suffering that you feel when you encounter the experience of failure (or potential failure) is the strong resistance caused by believing that is what you are. You are not that one who seems to experience failure. You are that one who creates the story and then chooses to experience it. This is not failure. It is total mastery of perfect freedom, and it is the pure power of light.
The basic teachings I have given you are key to everything you ask. Everything is in the mind. It is all created by you and for you. Nothing you see is anything but an idea, and these ideas are a mixture of what is true and what is untrue. All ideas come as an experience, and so you shall experience them as such. Appreciating you is accepting the experience. Resistance is to cut you off from you.
Observing and accepting is important because it is remembering who you are. Only by realizing your mastery can you choose to rewrite code. Without this remembrance you are master and experience mastery, but you label it as suffering because you think you are victim to what you do not want. It is total experience. Accepting it as only that is the realization that makes all things different by making them the same.
Go now and accept. Relax, accept and trust. Even more…relax, accept and know that you are the maker of all you experience. Flourish in your experience, and you appreciate the reality of you.
Question: Can you explain what you mean by “flourish in your experience”?
Answer: Yes. Accept it. Don’t resist it. Know it comes from you. Flourish in the awareness of you. This flourishing is waking up to the truth that is always and forever true. Nothing else exists but that which is true of you. That is the only reality. That’s what makes all things the same.
