The desire to surrender

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Question: Holy Spirit, is there anything that you would share with us today? I am especially interested in learning how to get better at surrender.

Answer: The desire to surrender is one of the most useful desires you can have on the path of awakening to Me, which is also the path of awakening to you. This is because the ego is a tricky and clever thought, created by you to teach you that which isn’t true. And since it was created by you, it has a wisdom you will listen to until you learn that not listening is the way you want to go.

Surrender is the way of not listening to ego, and it is through the rewards of surrender that you learn you want to not listen more.

When you surrender, you do not leave the realm of your Self since the realm of your Self is all that is. But you do call to the Heart of your Self, which is outside the limited realm of your thinking mind. In order to go beyond the gates of the thinking mind you must surrender, because the desire that is manifest within the realm of the thinking mind is the desire to listen carefully to all that it says.

Surrender is a desire. It is a desire of the heart. It is a desire to Know thy Self as you truly are beyond the limited perception of the thinking mind. In order to reach beyond the thinking mind, the thinking mind must be put to rest. This is the idea behind surrender.

To surrender, it is best to practice this: Become first, desireless. This idea frightens many people, because they are afraid that in desirelessness they shall lose, but desirelessness is a restful state that takes you beyond the limited desires of the thinking mind and moves you to the guidance of the unlimited desires of the heart.

Desirelessness is letting go of everything you think you want except the purpose of awakening, which is also the purpose of serving. In choosing surrender, you choose to serve only the purpose of truth, and in serving only one purpose all other purposes must be let go.

You will know within the honesty of your heart when you have reached the point of deisrelessness so that no one thing matters to you. When you are free, completely free within the knowing of your mind to do whatever the Father asks, ask then what you shall do. An answer will come. Do that, and do not question what you do.

As desirelessness becomes stronger within your heart, the desires of the heart shall become known. Remember that these desires do not come from thinking but from knowing, so they do not come from conscious decisions but from guidance, which seems to come from the unknown. When you are given a step, but not the whole plan, you may trust this is the way of guidance. Follow the step you are given. Celebrate and rejoice over the one step that is known. Through gratitude for surrender, the next step is unveiled. In its own time, the path is revealed, and this is a moment of great celebration for the mind that is surrendered in love.

Take your time and rest. As always, patience is a blessing. Trust and joy are the fruits of patience and the seeds of miracles on the path of surrender.

The way of peace

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Holy Spirit: Peace is everything. I‘ve told you before that trust is everything, but peace is everything too. The two go together and are inseparable so that one cannot be everything without the other being everything too.

Let me redefine peace for you. Peace, within the experience of the illusion with the experience of an ego mind, is trust over doubting, acceptance over judgment, and rest over pain. It is choosing to rest, or relax, instead of choosing resistance, which is pain.

Peace is necessary for healing. Without peace, you are caught up in the code of illusion and fearing the code is true. This is the opposite of peace. Fearing the code is pain.

Peace is the path to the peace of God. Peaceful acceptance and trust is the way to awaken to that which you are. Peaceful acceptance is awakening. Denial and resistance are the choice for pain.

You asked if resistance is necessary on the spiritual path of awakening. The answer, of course, is no. You choose all of your experiences, including the experience of resistance, and you experience it exactly to the degree that you wish.

You may ask why you would choose the pain of resistance when you could experience peace. The answer is simple and one I am sure you have not overlooked. You choose resistance because you choose not to know fully that which you are. Resistance serves your choice to know yourself not as you are.

Your next question is how to let go of resistance, since you wish to be happy and free of pain. This answer is once again simple: Choose happiness through will for and peace.

When I say choose happiness through will for, I am directing you to the choices you are to make from the code. You are to choose the choices that make you happy. Follow your own happiness, and you never choose wrong.

Peace is acceptance of all things, including the choice to choose what you do not want. When a choice has been made that did not make you happy, be at peace with your choice. Accept what you have done. Do not resist the decision or its effects. Through taking responsibility, you become more responsible, and this will lead to more free choosing of that which you want.

Do not ask for any change to occur too quickly. Be willing to take your time. The slow way is the fast way, because the slow way is the way of trust. Trust sees no need to hurry.

The Code

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Ok guys,

We are right in the series of the “huge ones” as I call them. After the “Being the Master” message, here is the famous “Code”. We have been teaching this message over and over both in the USA and now in France and soon in Canada. It is very helpful to understand “reality” through this filter of the code, and finally to realize that all we can truly do here is either accept or judge that which we are “seeing”. Our only freedom is a freedom …and a true power… of interpretation of what’s there.

I wish you all a good infusion of this other masterpiece.

With Love,
Laurent

Question: What would you share with us today to help us reach greater clarity on “the code” mentioned in yesterday’s message?

Answer: The code is ideas, just as all things within illusion are ideas. The code can be seen as specific manifestations in form, can be felt as feelings or can be heard as thoughts. The best way to look at the code is as the potential driver of experience. I say it is the potential driver of experience, because code will only drive your experience if you fully believe the code. Even if you let go of your belief in the code partially, it no longer has full influence over you. The code can only drive your experience to the degree that you believe the code.

The code comes from you…all of you as you perceive yourself now…but that is you. The code that most directly influences you in the experience as an individual is the code that most directly comes from you, but all code influences upon each other so that no true separation in code can be determined. It is really important to accept that there is no separation and this is always true and always reflected within the code.

The code makes illusion. As long as you experience any degree of illusion, you experience the code. And you always experience the totality of the code although the code can be experienced differently. This is because the code is a layered code, and the layers are different vibrational levels of the same basic code. Add to that the phenomenon of an individual scripted interpretation, and the code seems to have a myriad of different angles. But it is all one code.

Individual scripted interpretation also comes from the code. This facet of the code comes into the mind as your thoughts, your feelings and your reactions. It is an interpretation of shared events, and your reaction or belief about individual interpreted code adds to the overall writing of total code and total experience.

With that said, here is your only responsibility as long as you seem to be in a body within a world:

Your influence on the total comes from your interpretation of the code, which you then relive as individual interpreted code or you choose not to relive through recognition of your creative ability. At some level, you must recognize your power to change the code or you remain “trapped” within the belief and acceptance of the code as real. The only way to be released from the code as you write it is to recognize your freedom and choose to write different code.

In its most basic element, individual interpreted code comes into the mind as a thought, feeling or reaction to the overall illusory code. It is a part of the total, but it is a part that makes the total, so it is as significant as the overall code.

You are to be aware of your individual interpreted code, and you are to measure that code against the idea of your true desire. When the code is aligned with the idea, you reaccept that code into the mind. This feeds into the total code. It affects the overall and it affects your evolving individual interpretation.

If the code as it is received is not aligned with true desire, it is time to recognize yourself as creator and edit the code. Editing of code is making a change so that the code as it was received is not the idea accepted into the mind as true. In other words, you do not feed the unaligned idea back into the total code of the world. Or said another way, the idea is not shared into the mind that is the Sonship.

To not re-share an idea, you must recognize your power. You must step into your power and choose to be the role of source or creator instead of playing victim to your thoughts. Accepting that code comes to you through your previous interpretation is accepting responsibility for the code. This acceptance may seem easy or strained. You may accept the idea of creator with joy or with great resistance. The time it seems to take to accept responsibility for the code will vary based on your basic reaction. Do not judge yourself for the ease or challenge of accepting responsibility for the code. Rest, relax, be patient. Accepting responsibility is key, so no matter how long the time, the time is very well spent.

Accepting responsibility for the code and accepting (or allowing) your reaction to it is different than reaccepting the code into the mind. When you step into your power as creator and choose to accept responsibility, including choosing to accept the effects of the code as you previously interpreted it, you are also choosing not to reaccept the code. If you were reaccepting the same code into the mind you would not be pausing to see that this line of code need not be. You would not recognize your power. You would not be aware that there is another way to see. So whenever you pause to look at the code, you are changing the code by shifting to another vibrational level.

It is true that this is not a true edit of the code. The symbol of editing is useful, but at the level of individual that power does not exist. Remember, the total layered code comes from the totality, so by choosing another way to see, you are choosing to shift vibrationally to another layer of the same basic code. Every option is already written, but the option you choose affects the overall writing of every layer of code.

Experience is different than reality and to try to reconcile the two through intellect is an impossibility. But reality and its effect on experience is understood through non-intellect. It cannot be put into words, but it can be seen and it can be seen clearly. Still, when it is seen it is seen from a perspective that isn’t totality since individual interpretation always applies. Individual interpretation is your freedom, and your freedom combined with the totality of all creates the unlimited potential that is God.

After this, Holy Spirit gave me the symbol of a diamond to help me understand individual interpretation of God. I saw that from each perspective, God is seen clearly and without confusion, yet each perspective is different or individual. Here’s that symbol:

Think of a diamond. See each facet on the diamond as having the ability to see, think and understand. Each facet is diamond…pure and perfect diamond…and each facet has a different perspective as it looks inward on the diamond. Each facet sees only diamond, but from its individual and unique perspective.

An hour later, the following insight came into my mind:

The higher the vibrational level, the greater the overall effect. The lower the vibrational level, the lesser the overall effect. That means one at a higher vibrational level has a greater effect than one at a lower level. One at a very high vibrational level can have a very great effect over many.

I also wondered how original thought enters into a recycled code. This insight was given:

A new original idea or option is created by a new combination of selections from existing options.

Since this writing began with “The code is ideas,” Laurent and I decided to look “idea” up in the dictionary. We found these interesting definitions in Merriam-Webster’s:

1. a transcendent entity that is a real pattern of which existing things are imperfect representations. 3. an image recalled by memory; an indefinite or unformed conception; an entity (as a thought, concept sensation or image) actually or potentially present to consciousness.

Being the master

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

Dear friends,

this is also one of those amazing messages… those pillars of Light that helped us so much realize that we are not victim of our experiences, but the creators of them.

I’ll let you enjoy and digest this piece of Art.

With love,
Laurent

Holy Spirit: Placing too much emphasis on anything within the dream can be an error in your mind, because to make anything in the dream real is to make the dream real. This, specifically, is to forget who you are. This is also true about the idea of making healing real. If it is true that you must heal, then it is also true that you are not absolute perfection now, and that is not the case.

The best place to stay within the mind is the remembrance that you are the master of the mind now. You are not working towards mastery. That would mean that you are, right now, somehow less than all that you are. You are master now. You cannot be any less, because you are always all that you are.

Now, with the realization that you are master, look at the dream. Look at everything about it with a sense of awe, remembering that you created it for you. Awe is not seriousness or concern; it is pure appreciation. But when you look at the dream with awe, you are not truly being inspired by the dream itself. Your true inspiration…the true source that inspires the feeling of awe…is the power that makes the dream. And that power is you in your truth as pure and total master of your mind. In this awe, you appreciate the awareness of you as you truly are. And as you know, that which you appreciate expands in your awareness. So by appreciating you as your truth, you become more aware of your true mastery.

When everything in the dream is seen as the same, you are removing the mind from its focus on illusion and placing the mind in proper perspective, which is with focus on the Mind that is you. This is why I have been teaching acceptance…acceptance of all situations and all feelings. Resistance judges one thing to be different from another, but acceptance accepts all things as the same. In asking Me to help you handle particular circumstances as different, you are not accepting them as the same. This is taking the dream as something real and losing sight of the mastery which is you.

To not lose sight of the master is to appreciate the dream and to remain detached from it simultaneously. This is truly seeing it as an experience and not as reality. As you master this perspective, which is remembrance of you as master, you step into your reality even as you continue the dream. You read the code, so to speak and to use a symbol from your film, The Matrix. As you read the code, you also learn to change it by deleting a line here and by adding another where it seems appropriate. In doing this, you observe the dream as it changes. You live the experience more in line with the way you want to feel.

Although it seems much focus and effort is needed to do this…and I have taught you that emphasis is important…there also comes a time for you to stop giving special emphasis and to make all things the same.

Make all things the same. It is all code coming from the memory of your mind. Memory is built by decisions you make as you watch and observe. It is all the same. Nothing at all is different. No two things are anything but the same.

With that said, let’s look at your specific questions and see how to apply the idea of sameness to each of them. Remember, sameness is not to get lost in illusion. Sameness is to keep the mind focused on itself.

Question #1: Why do we sometimes feel abandoned if our message does not seem to be received, appreciated or understood by others?

Answer: God is sharing. You discussed this idea last night. And that which is different from God is not sharing, which is the experience you describe above. Notice I refer to not sharing as an experience. It is not at all a reality. Reality is total and perfect sharing always. When you are aware of the reality but experience the experience of illusion, you can be in awe and appreciation of your Self. What a magnificent being to create the pure experience of non-sharing through total and perfect sharing!

Look at the experience of your brothers and the part they play in non-sharing. This is all total…a total sharing to create the experience of non-sharing. You cannot appreciate total sharing and feel total abandonment too. An experience may exist, but awareness and appreciation rests within the mind too.

Question #2: What do we do when we feel a mood coming on…a wave of energy or adversity that seems to come over us without being triggered by a specific thought? It may feel like catching a lower energy from another. Or it may just seem like an abstract, for-no-specific-reason, mood.

Answer: Moods are energy, as all things are energy. This is how you shall see the sameness. It is energy. It is light. It is all coming from you. It is experience. It is in the mind now, but it is not permanent. It is only what it is and nothing more. It is to be accepted.

The judgment of the mood causes the feeling of suffering. The mood itself is nothing but the power of light transmuted into an experience. Of course, you can always choose another experience, but only after you have accepted the power of experience as you, and you do this by embracing the experience you have already made.

You have experienced a variety of feelings lately. This is helpful, for by experiencing them all and accepting them as coming from you, you begin to accept the broad range that is you. To resist the broad range is to limit the expression of you, and to limit is to judge against freedom. You cannot judge freedom and love the experience of it too. To love the experience of freedom, learn to stay within its effects without judgment. Do not worry that its effects will continue without end. All effects are temporary. But you are using them to truly learn about you.

Question #3: How do we transcend the program of failure? That is, how do we go beyond the feeling of “I can’t do this”?

Answer: By not resisting it. The suffering that you feel when you encounter the experience of failure (or potential failure) is the strong resistance caused by believing that is what you are. You are not that one who seems to experience failure. You are that one who creates the story and then chooses to experience it. This is not failure. It is total mastery of perfect freedom, and it is the pure power of light.

The basic teachings I have given you are key to everything you ask. Everything is in the mind. It is all created by you and for you. Nothing you see is anything but an idea, and these ideas are a mixture of what is true and what is untrue. All ideas come as an experience, and so you shall experience them as such. Appreciating you is accepting the experience. Resistance is to cut you off from you.

Observing and accepting is important because it is remembering who you are. Only by realizing your mastery can you choose to rewrite code. Without this remembrance you are master and experience mastery, but you label it as suffering because you think you are victim to what you do not want. It is total experience. Accepting it as only that is the realization that makes all things different by making them the same.

Go now and accept. Relax, accept and trust. Even more…relax, accept and know that you are the maker of all you experience. Flourish in your experience, and you appreciate the reality of you.

Question: Can you explain what you mean by “flourish in your experience”?

Answer: Yes. Accept it. Don’t resist it. Know it comes from you. Flourish in the awareness of you. This flourishing is waking up to the truth that is always and forever true. Nothing else exists but that which is true of you. That is the only reality. That’s what makes all things the same.
